Be cautious of most chimney cleaning-people as they do not take the time to clean the entire chimney system correctly. If they take less than 1 hour, BEWARE. Always ask how long they take, if less than 1 hour, THEN BEWARE OF SHODDY WORK. It should take aprox 1 . 1/2 to 2 hours to do the cleaning correctly. We, personally have never been able to clean a chimney system in less time than 70 minutes and usually it takes 90 minutes.
