National Blinds Cleaning & Window Coverings – Hunter Douglas Gallery

National Blinds is a leader in sales and installations of premium quality window treatments. We are a customer service driven company bringing integrity, reliability, and dependability to its customers. We work with designers, architects, renters and home owners taking their projects flawlessly through each stage: measuring, fabrication, and installation. We have showrooms in San Francisco, Marin County, and San Mateo.

We’re looking for an honest, charismatic, and reliable person to fill a Full-Time position as a Window Design Sales Consultant for our San Mateo Gallery. (Saturdays will be expected work days). We would like a skilled and motivated professional salesperson to join our team and drive the growth of our company. Experience in design and customer service is a plus! You will work closely with other part-time and full-time employees and installers in a retail showroom/office environment, and later, on your own in the homes of clients.

Design Consultants are our front line, working with our clients in creating the home of their dreams. After training, the responsibilities include setting appointments, meeting with clients, measuring and pricing jobs, supervising installations and following up with clients to ensure 100% satisfaction.

Daily activities:
- Contacting potential clients and generating business
- Selling our products on the showroom floor or during In-Home measuring appointments
- Organizing appointments for yourself, our installers, and other employees
- Basic office duties: answering phones, collecting payments, faxing orders, etc
- Managing incoming orders, talking with clients about their inquiries, repairs, or new orders
- Handling clients who bring in blinds for repairs or cleaning, creating estimates
- Keeping Gallery floor tidy and organized

Job Requirements:
- Experienced in selling window coverings
- Superior customer service abilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Eye for design (must understand light and color)
- Computer savvy (MS Office and Quickbooks knowledge a plus)
- Confident with basic math (accurate with a tape measure for measuring windows)
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and flexible
- An ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Work well under pressure
