For sale here are some Plumeria plants of assorted colors (red, pink, yellow, and white, but not blooming yet) in 1-gallon nursery pots. Grown from cuttings, the plants are about 1 year old, well established, and with extensive root systems. From this point on, they should be very easy to grow and maintain.

Plumeria is very popular plant in Hawaii and other tropical or subtropical regions; its flowers are used for leis and other floral arrangements. Wether you put it in your garden, on your front porch, or by your swimming pool, it will sure add a tropical flavor to your sweet home.

Plumeria plants are easy to grow and maintain. During the growing season, all you need to do is water them whenever the top one inch of the soil is dry to the touch and feed them with some diluted all-purpose fertilizer once in a while. Bring them inside (garage, storage room, hallway, etc) from late fall or early winter and let them go dormant. It is important to limit watering during the winter. Give little or no water if you can. Bring them outdoors when spring comes and the temprerature stablizes around 50 (F) degrees. If cared for properly, the plants can grow up to five feet tall in three years in the Bay Area and provide constant blooming and fragrance in your home throughout the growing seasons.
