Due to a family medical emergency we must rehome our wonderful Arabian Horse, "Ravi." I am sorry, but we cannot hold him for anyone and cannot deliver. Originally, we intended to sell him, but our situation has gotten worse, and we just need to find him a good home. He is located at our home in the East San Jose foothills. He is an older horse 20 *something* broke to ride, great with kids. Currently he is in the pasture, and has not been ridden in about 8 weeks. Pictures are available but would not upload here on Craigslist. I am happy to email you pictures. We are sorry to see him go. He will make a great family or companion horse!
Please note: 15 minutes after placing this ad, my phone had not stopped ringing. I will remove this ad as soon as Ravi is rehomed. If you are reading this ad, he is still available. Because of the MANY phone calls I have received, it is necessary for me to clarify the conditions under which I will give Ravi to you:
1. IF you do not currently own your own horse, you MUST bring another experienced horse owner with you to see him. Priority will be given to those who have experience, or an experienced person with them, who agrees to assist you in the transition of owning a horse.
2. You must bring a photo or proof of where he will be homed.
3. You MUST be able to feed him and provide GOOD care for him.
4. You MUST sign a contract of sale, like any other livestock sale, with ownership being taken with the relinquishment of any and all future claims of damage to persons, animals, or property personal & real. This is standard procedure. If you are not willing to do so, please do not call.
5. You must bring a valid driver's license or other photo id with you. I will NOT write a contract with your name as the buyer if you can not prove who you are.
6. I will NOT hold him for anyone. If you call to arrange to see him today, you should be prepared to take him. If you choose to see him, and like him, but show up without a trailer, he will go to the first qualified person that can give him a good him a good home and care, that can take him when they leave. Otherwise, if my circumstances permitted, I would be patient, SELL him, and take a deposit on any serious interests. There is ONE exception if you are not able to take him when you see him:
THERE IS AN OPTION FOR YOU, IF YOU NEED TIME: If you like him, and are unable to take him when you see him but really want him, you can pay a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $75.00. I will hold him for three days in such case.
MUST REHOME! Alicia 510-875-3293
