micromobs is an innovative new startup focused on real time group messaging and contextual relevancy. We are a TheFunded Founder Institute startup, with a dedicated hard working team. Responsibilities: *Design, implement, and maintain Ruby on Rails-based application and infrastructure components *Be a part of some agile development fun *Conduct design and code reviews Requirements: *Expert knowledge developing and debugging in Ruby on Rails; Strong Python and PHP skills will be considered *Excellent understanding and skills in SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript *Excellent AJAX development skills *Knowledge and interest in cloud computing platforms and how to scale consumer web applications *Extremely strong communication and documentation skills *Disciplined approach to development, testing, and quality assurance *Must be able to iterate and push code at a rapid pace *Familiarity with version control software such as Git or Subversion.
