NEED RAID AND SOLARIS EXP

JOB RESPONSIBILITY/SUMMARY
Responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining firmware for the RAID Controllers in the Pillar Storage enclosure. Must work well in a team environment and with other development groups, including HW and SW engineering, to meet project schedules. Experience in the storage industry working with SAS and/or SATA is beneficial.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Ability to design, implement, and debug Real Time Embedded Software modules as part of an overall system architecture.
· Participates and contributes in reviews of design, code, and documentation.
· Works as an effective member of a cohesive development team.
* Maintains code as part of sustaining engineering after product release.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum Experience: 5+ years experience in Embedded SW / Firmware Development.

Knowledge: Demonstrated programming skills in C / C++ programming languages. Demonstrated understanding of Real Time Embedded Software development and design techniques. Experience with ARM and/or MIPS processors preferred. Experience with SAS / SATA preferred. Understanding of RAID types and RAID algorithms preferred.

Analytical / Interpersonal Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.
