This unique lamp was created by a local artisan, and was given to us as a house warming gift when we moved to the fabulous wine country of Sonoma County California. However, since neither my lovely wife nor I drink, we don't really have a use for it. Handmade from an actual 3.5" x 10.5" turquoise or aqua glass wine carafe, it is mounted on a turned walnut base (which has been felted so as not to scratch any surface), and assembled with the finest quality solid brass parts throughout. The 10" x 12" x 10" high lampshade was also handmade from a sturdy single sheet of white vinyl covered in fine imported white linen, and it has been trimmed at the bottom with a matching piece of 1/8" soutache. It is just over 2 feet tall, but that is easily adjustable. It will take up to a 250 watt lightbulb, and nicely fit into any decor.
