Sydney is a one-of-a-kind adorable yorkie-silky-terrier mix! Sydney has one blue eye and one grey eye! He has a face only a mother could love! If you are looking for a gentle, loveable, sweet sweet sweetheart who is good with everyone, then Sydney is the dog for you. He is small but not teeny. He is not a dog you can carry in a purse, but he LOVES to be carried around. He is so funny-looking. He has long legs for his body, so he is mixed with something, but we don't know what. He has the face of a yorkie-terrier mix but with long legs. He is very quiet and does not run around and does not bark. At this point he does not even play. He is just getting used to everything and we think he was overwhelmed by his Shelter experience. Sydney is very loving. He would make a great pet for a family with older teenage children. We are looking for teenagers as opposed to younger children because Sydney is a very delicate and quiet dog. We don't want him to be played with roughly. His favorite thing to do is to curl up in the crook of your arm and be carried around like a baby. He can do that all day. He is sort of needy. He will follow you everywhere. But he is not cloying or annoying. He is just kind of babyish. He would also be great with a retired couple or people who are home all day. This is not a dog that can be alone all day. He would not be happy. Nor is he a good companion for young, big playful dogs. He needs a sedate home environment where people are present. Sydney will bring oodles of joy and laughs to anyone who adopts him! We apologize for his ragamuffin appearance but we had to cut his matts off and also could not bathe him after neutering. He will look a lot better than this!
