Meet Stevie, he is a 4-5 yr old chocolate in color,Terrier mix that weighs 14 pounds. This very....VERY sweet little guy came to us with glaucoma and needed to have his eyes removed due to the pressure that had built up and he was in pain. The Doctors said that he was already blind so it has not affected his confidence level at all. He has completely recovered and would love to have a family who would let him cuddle up on the couch with them. He is one of the most affectionate dogs that you will ever meet. He wants nothing more than to sleep beside you. Stevie's blindness has not been an issue for him at all; he found his way around our home and yards within a couple of days. He knows how to get up on all of the couches and dog beds, he plays with his toys and loves to play with other dogs. He is a normal guy who just happens to be missing his eyes; his hearing is perfect....he knows that someone is at the door before we do and he does not miss a beat; he is right at the door to bark and let you know someone is there. He is house broken; he has never had an accident in our home and is not destructive at all. Stevie is very well behaved and will make a great companion for someone who is loving and compassionate enough to accept his being different. I do not feel that he is disabled in any way, he is just different than most other dogs.
