Hi, my name is Ruffy. I am an 11 year old, 15, long, slender, 30 lb., tri-color beagle boy. I settled in quickly at my foster home and get along well with the other dogs. I use the doggy door, am housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, and have no destructive behaviors. I am healthy; however, I do take thyroid meds. My foster mom thinks I am a well-behaved house guest inside and outside. I love going for walks and am friendly to the people and dogs I meet along the way, I am also good with children of all ages. I am a sweet, mellow, loving, happy dogmy tail is always wagging. I ride well in the car. I love lying near my foster moms feet or sleeping next to her bed. If youre looking for companionship, Im your guy as I prefer being in close proximity to my family. I am neutered and current on my shots. I dont chase the ducks or squirrels in the back yard, so its a safe bet that Id be great around kitties. I love being petted and having my ears and tummy rubbed. I will be happiest in a home with either a stay-at-home person or someone with a flexible schedule. Although I would like a canine companion, a home in which I am the only dog is okay too.
