Since 1996, Johnson Computer, Inc. has been repairing laptop and notebook computer down to the component level. Instead of replacing logic boards or laptop screens (that's what most repair shop and manufacturer suggest), we repair them by replacing the faulty chip, diode, resistor, light bulb, etc., by doing this the repair cost is much less than the manufacturer's cost. In this way, we can provide significant savings to our customers.
We repair all makes and models for DELL, Compaq, HP, IBM, Sony, Toshiba, Gateway, Fujitsu, eMachine, Hitachi, Acer, Asus, ibook, Power Book and all other clones.
We have a fast turn around. With many years of experience and accumulated expertise, most problems can be fixed within 48 hours. And very important we perform the re pair in our shop, you are very welcome to visit our facility and ask any questions.
What we repair includes the following:
Hardware problems: PC Motherboard, Industrial PC motherboard, LCD, FDD, HDD, DVD, DVD-CDRW
Software problems: Operating system crashed, virus infected, data recovery, forget password

We are competent at fixing the following system issues you may encounter:
Motherboard problems:
* Power jack or AC DC jack or power connector or plug is burned or broken or loose; this is most common problem for most of the machines. Sometimes this work is not just as simple as replacing the jack, there might be short or burnt circuit problem we need to fix first before we can replace the jack, so do not try to do it on your own or have someone work on it without enough experiences. Recently, the machines we come across most with power DC jack problem are HP Pavilion ZD7000, ZV5000, ZX5000, R3000 series, Dell Inspiron 5100, 5150, 5160, 6000, 1150, 8500, 8600, 9200, 9300, 9400, 600M, E1705, Latitude D400, D410, D500, D505, D510, D600, D610, D800, D810,XPS Sony Viao PCG-K series and Toshiba Satellite series. We have different kinds of power jacks for most of the machines. When we repair it, we will reinforce it (the motherboard is cracked on the power jack area on Dell Inspiron 4000 and Latitude C600 series, do not give up, keep the broken motherboard piece and bring it over, we can still fix it), some of the power jacks are difficult to find, we will modify the circuit on the motherboard and install a different but popular power jack so that we don't need to replace the motherboard. Most of the power jack repair job can be finished in 24 hours. m/424602484kRoTYB" rel="nofollow">http://community.webshots.com/album/424602484kRoTYB

* System hangs up or shuts down by itself (lots of Sony F series (PII) laptop have this problem ?CPU board problem ?we do fix it)
