All That Jazz... In a mere 100 years American Jazz is all embracing and colourful. We can only imagine the enormous impact the live Jazz Orchestra played in it's development. From it's roots in "Ragtime" and "New Orleans" music, into the "Swing" Era of the 30's and the "Jitterbug" of the Big Bands, into the evolution of "Bop" in the 50's, and on to our present day Jazz icons. The Jazz Orchestra, and it's many incarnations, was solely responsible for spreading "the word"... which was inspired by those first live Band's whose sound led their audiences to dance and be happy all those many years ago! I have been a trumpet player for most of my life, times are tough for me right now, and I'm having to start selling off some of my "worldly" possessions. I can only hope that some other cool-cat out there will enjoy these 10 Musicians as much as I have. Each player stands approximately 7 inches tall; and has felt "dots" on the underside to protect your table top. Orchestra Personnel: Guitar, Upright Bass, Xylophone (rhythm section); Tenor Sax, Clarinet (woodwinds); Wailing Coronet (leader) & Trombone (brass), Drummer, Lead Vocalist, and all male Backup Quartet.
