The Petaluma Movers and Shakers, otherwise known as the Parkinson's Support Group, invite you to join us in a new venture!

Once a month, on a Friday afternoon from 1-3pm at the Novak Senior Center, Diana Scranton will lead us in seated and/or standing dance routines along with qi gong training.
The sessions will be fun as well as rewarding as we develop flexibility, balance, coordination and strength in a caring, non-competitive atmosphere.
Who is Diana Scranton, M.A.C.M.T.?
She has worked with the College of Marin's Adapted P.E. program for over 20 years. She studied with the co-founders of Dance for PD from Mark Morris Dance Troupe.
For a window into this program, use your computer to Google videos, then choose Dance Parkinson’s, and look at “When I Dance Parkinson’s Project.” (There are some other videos you might also enjoy.)
The class will be offered for a $5 fee for each session on a drop in basis. You do NOT need to commit to a specific number of lessons; come when you are able.
Care givers are welcome as well.
The first session will be introductory, no fee, on October 16th
