Introduction to Full-Force, Padded Assailant IMPACT Style Self-Defense Attendees will learn how to use verbal boundary-setting and de-escalation techniques, how to avoid being an "easy target", learn how to assess when a physical response to aggression is needed and learn basic front and rear attack self-defense responses plus an effective ground fighting technique. This intro course includes practicing full-force strikes on a padded mock-assailant instructor, and an adrenalized "home-invasion" fight scenario. This is an excellent introduction to IMPACT-style self-defense and a great way for Basics graduates to practice their skills.
