All dogs are spayed or neutered, shots current (DHPPC, Bordetella and Rabies) and are microchipped. If you are interested in a dog, please first read the profile on the dog and then see our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application is accepted. We do not ship our dogs for any reason. Adoption fee for all dogs/puppies is $400. If you are interested in a cat, please see their individual profiles for info. on them, adoption fee and routine medical performed. Application for cats is also on our website at www.dpsrescue.comDarby: Darby is our 3 year old gorgeous long haired Calico who is 'Ms. Meet-n-Greet You' at the door and welcome you to her wonderful home. She is an ambassador for cats all over as she loves all people and all animals. She currently lives in a foster home with other cats and 2 dogs and she is happy as a clam. She is a wonderfully viable option for kids as well. She would not run and hide at the first sign of a mischievous little one who wanted to dress her in a baby gown or wheel her around the house in a stroller. Our Darby would take it all in stride.   Darby is a completely indoor cat who loves to lounge in the window and watch all the birds outside but has no desire to spend her days out there. She was once an outdoor kitty who found herself in a world of danger and now loves the life of security and happiness inside with her family. If you are one who wants a cat who likes to lounge and likes love and affection, you need to meet our girl. She is not needy nor does she demand from you but will happily oblige your need to pet her and tell her what a Princess she truly is -- and trust us, she won't be disagreeing.
