This beautiful dish is very heavy- rigged for hanging on the wall - must be a substancial wall - perfect for an entryway - also can be used as a birdbath - from the early 1920's - the diameter is 18 inches and has a thickness of over 1/2 inch - the outer part contains eight painted madelians in the Florentine style- the center has a hand painted scene of three female figures in the romantic style - the basic background color is a dark blue - the edge is terra cotta - overall a very colorful piece - Please visit my other ads on Kijiji - I will answer any questions you have on any of the items by e-mail.
