Description: This is one of the nicest pieces that my mother ever bought. She got it in the 1960's at the L.A. Design Center directly from a dealer in fine Iranian Antiques. It was made in the 1870's in southern Persia, and is a fine example of old world native craftsmanship, with hand-hammered fittings and a hand-forged heavy duty handle. It is solid copper, and the color is, well, I guess it's sort of copper colored. There is a fine aged patina, as well as some surface dirt and a couple of small dents.
