This copper tray was purchased in Tehran in 1952 and it was an antique THEN. It is heavy (15 pounds) and 28 inches across. On the wrought iron stand it is 17 inches tall. The tray is 2 inches deep. It is signed by the artisan and is unique. A dealer said it was "an exquisite piece worth $800-$1000."
